V-STARS uses custom high-resolution digital cameras coupled with automated data processing to generate highly accurate dimensional measurement data very rapidly, with results being available to the user on site either in real-time or within a matter of minutes depending upon the mode of operation. The combination of fast turnaround and ultra-portability makes V-STARS an attractive system for a wide range of applications. These include tasks such as tool and parts inspection, parts fitting, reverse engineering, surface conformance determination and analysis. Single Camera
Whether the application calls for hand-held operation, remote control, or real-time 3D measurement, V-STARS S has the speed, power, versatility and accuracy to handle the job with ease.
The premier V-STARS S system offered by GSI incorporates the INCA4 camera. The V-STARS N series, which has three configurations for high-accuracy, high-flexibility and high-portability 3D coordinate measurement, offers an innovative, more affordable V-STAR S option.
Multiple Cameras
V-STARS M employs multiple cameras and operates as a portable optical coordinate measurement machine (CMM) to provide 3D coordinate measurement in real-time, in both stable and unstable environments, at a rate of up to 10 points per second.
