V-STARS M employs multiple cameras and operates as a portable optical coordinate measurement machine (CMM) to provide 3D coordinate measurement in real-time, in both stable and unstable environments, at a rate of up to 10 points per second.

The V-STARS/D5 system from Geodetic Systems! Inc. (GSI) is a lower-resolution but higher-speed system for those who do not need the accuracy or features of our high-end V-STARS/D1 2 system.
Of course, it still comes with GSI’s unparalleled V-STARS software and our total commitment to customer support.

The lightweight! highly portable DynaMo cameras have been designed for reliable, high-speed! high-accuracy 3D measurement even in the most difficult conditions.

The V-STARS DynaMo system retains the inherent advantages of photogrammetry:
  • Immune to vibration and movement so it can be used where other technologies cannot
  • Works from lifts, cranes and unstable platforms so it can see and measure what others cannot
  • Fast picture taking and no warm-up time so measurements are quick and production downtime is minimized
  • Small and portable so it goes practically anywhere, including into tight places where others cannot go

V-STARS/D5’s accuracy, portability and ruggedness make it well-suited for a wide variety of applications in many industries, such as aerospace, antenna, automotive, heavy engineering, shipbuilding and more.
